Understanding Beareavement
Bereavement is a deeply personal and often overwhelming experience that can bring sadness, confusion, anger, guilt, or even numbness. Grieving the loss of a loved one can affect every part of your life, from your daily routines to your relationships and sense of meaning. At Vinetree Counselling, we offer a compassionate, safe, and confidential space to explore your feelings without judgement. Together, we support you in processing your grief, finding ways to honour your loss, and gradually reconnecting with hope, resilience, and a sense of balance in your life.
How Counselling can help
Grief can change over time and may come in waves, sometimes when you least expect it. There is no right or wrong way to experience loss, and everyone’s journey is different. Having a space to talk openly can help you process these feelings at your own pace. Alongside sadness, bereavement can bring a range of emotions such as anger, guilt, or confusion. Talking through these feelings in a supportive environment can help you begin to understand and make sense of your experience.
